Conventional NDT methods

Introduction

Conventional methods of non-destructive testing (NDT) are used in a variety of industry sectors, including everything from oil and gas, renewables, rail, construction and fabrication, shipbuilding, steel production, biochemical through to theme parks and fairgrounds.

The methods used for conventional NDT include visual testing, penetrant testing, magnetic testing, ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing and eddy current testing, but all share common features in that the materials under test are not harmed in any way. These methods are well established and widely applied.

Our training courses will provide you with the skills and certification to enter into the world of NDT, additionally, we also offer eLearning for courses such as ultrasonic testing to supplement your classroom-based studies via our Virtual Academy. With so many opportunities available in conventional NDT, our suite of courses could open up an abundance of career opportunities for you.

Complement your theoretical training and prepare for your course and examination at your own pace with our eLearning and blended learning packages.
